BOOGER does not arrive so much as materialize. Operating out of MICVILLE, this singular artist has carved a sound so particular it required its own genre designation: NEVERLAND. Equal parts invocation and invention, BOOGER's music exists somewhere between a place you half-remember and one you have never been allowed to enter. The name SUPERCADJAFRAJELISPICESPIALADOCIOUS — unwieldy, defiant, almost liturgical — says everything about the approach: language bent until it means something new, sound stretched past the point of easy recognition. BOOGER is not chasing a scene. BOOGER is building a world with its own atmosphere, its own coordinates, its own rules. Visitors are welcome. Maps are not provided.
